Parents recognize the importance of education in the lives of their children so they exert all their efforts to provide the best education for them. There are schools which are academic-oriented. They give due focus on the intellectual development of the child. Other institutions of learning are a bit progressive. They teach their students how to prepare for their lives in the outside world. They prepare them to become active but responsible citizens of the state. Most of these schools develop the social and emotional development of the child.

The aforementioned are important considerations when selecting a school where your teens are to be matriculated. More often than not, the teenagers develop an antipathy in attending schools because some schools do not really address the needs and interest of the learners. The inevitable results? They became undermotivated, unable to perform simple scholastic tasks,  and lack interpersonal skills.

The Oak Creek school has for 36 years been helping undermotivated young adults, academic underachievers and learners with ADD ADHD reach their full potential.

Founded in 1972 by David Wick Oak Creek Ranch School is a fully accredited, co-ed boarding school with an enrollment of approximately 90 boys and girls, ages 12-19 (Grades 7-12). Located on seventeen wooded acres fronting Oak Creek near the beautiful red rocks of Sedona, Arizona, this boarding school envisions helping teens who were not succeeding in a traditional school environment. Its curriculum is designed to help your teens develop intellectual maturity and interpersonal skills. The campus is located in the temperate climate of Central Arizona which makes it a perfect place for students to enjoy a variety of year- round outdoor activities, including horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, skate-boarding, swimming, tennis and volleyball on campus.
